Taylor Hospitality is pleased to welcome Anthony Eads as Executive Chef of the Oxley House in Elkins, West Virginia. The Oxley House, a full cocktail bar and restaurant, will be opening in February 2024 and located on the first floor of the Tygart Hotel. 

Eads will be responsible for overseeing the menus and staff of the Oxley House, in addition to in-room dining and catering operations. Anthony has an extensive background in the culinary world. Originally from South Seattle, Washington, Eads has over 28 years of experience in private club foodservice and fine dining.

The menu will capture the best parts of the region which will include local, fresh ingredients, and creativity,“ stated Eads. Citing his ancestry as one of his main inspirations, Chef Anthony brings a farm-to-table culinary philosophy to the restaurant with a style of cooking that lets the food’s true flavors shine. His culinary experience is to integrate locally-sourced ingredients, merging familiar flavors and new ones in a fun and enticing way. His goal is to deliver a comfortable, inviting, and fine casual dining atmosphere. 

Guests can look forward to savoring delicious entrees, including classic steakhouse entrees and farm to table selections. The Oxley House will also offer weekly dinner specials, burgers and handhelds, and delectable desserts. A modern take on the traditional steakhouse, the Oxley House will highlight a contemporary, chef-driven menu, an extensive wine list, local craft beer, and well curated made-from-scratch handcrafted cocktail menu. From cuisine and cocktails to ambiance and vibe, the Oxley House is designed to fuse with the local scene, offering the finest dishes to cater to every taste. 

In addition, the restaurant will also offer catering and private dining options. Whether throwing a holiday party, hosting a family event, or leading a corporate meeting, the Oxley House will have the option for exclusive buyouts and catering packages. Live music will be hosted throughout the year and guests will be able to enjoy the fresh air while grabbing a bite to eat or drink on the outdoor patio overlooking Davis Avenue.
