With an impressive two-decade career in hospitality, Melissa brings extensive experience and expertise to our team. Her appointment is sure to elevate the standards of excellence and guest satisfaction at Hotel Weyanoke. 

Melissa has an impressive background as a General Manager in the hospitality industry, having successfully managed multiple hotels such as the Holiday Inn Express & Suites and Hampton Inn. She has also held positions as an Operations Manager and Regional Sales Manager, showcasing her ability to handle a diverse range of responsibilities.

In her new role as Assistant General Manager at Hotel Weyanoke, Melissa will work closely with General Manager, Nicholas Gonzales to oversee day-to-day operations. Her responsibilities will include managing staff schedules, ensuring smooth hotel operations, and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction with a focus on the Front Desk and the heart of the house, our Housekeeping Department. Melissa’s strong organizational skills and attention to detail make her well-suited for this role, as she will assist in maintaining the hotel’s reputation for excellence.

Collaborating with the entire team, she will ensure that every guest receives a personalized and unforgettable stay.
