Taylor Hospitality Welcomes Jena Liggett as Assistant Manager of the Tygart Hotel

Taylor Hospitality is proud to announce the hiring of Jena Liggett as Assistant General Manager of the Tygart Hotel. Jena is excited to be a part of the leadership team at the newly renovated Tygart Hotel in Elkins, West Virginia.

Jena Liggett, a resident of Buckhannon, brings a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry with over 10 years of expertise in a variety of managerial roles. She was previously the General Manager of the Bridgeport Conference Center where she handled the day to day operations of the facility. She also has extensive knowledge in the food industry and is known for her creative, energetic, outgoing personality with organizational skills and attention to detail. 

The Woodlands Development Group, the Tygart Hotel owners, selected Taylor Hospitality to assist and consult with the overall construction, design, and management of all the hotel. Upon opening, Taylor Hospitality will oversee the hiring and all day-to-day operations for the hotel and restaurant. 

Shane Jones, General Manager of the Tygart Hotel, shared, “I am looking forward to having Jena as the assistant manager of the hotel. Her experience in operations management, team management, and having a positive personality will be a great asset to the Tygart team. I am confident that she will be a great asset and help us provide the best experience for our guests.” 

Tygart Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Elkins, West Virginia. The building has been carefully restored to maintain its historic charm while also providing modern amenities and accommodations. Guests can expect a full restaurant and bar, Oxley House, an outdoor patio seating area, and a conference room suitable for small meetings and events. The Oxley House will provide inspired West Virginia Appalachian Cuisine, which hotel guests will have the option to have delivered to their rooms.

Jena is excited to join the Taylor Hospitality team and is looking forward to the challenge of helping to manage the Tygart Hotel. I am looking forward to the opportunity to use my skills to help make the Tygart Hotel a success.”
